Paramount Home Entertainment has bumped 'Ghost' and 'An Officer and a Gentleman' from its summer Blu-ray and HD DVD line-up.

Back in late April, the studio announced 'Ghost' for next-gen release on July 24; that announcement was followed several days later by another for 'An Officer and a Gentleman,' which was scheduled to debut the same day as 'Ghost.'

Order 'Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows'

Coming to Blu-ray June 12th

Paramount has now removed both titles from its upcoming schedule, with no new dates announced.

At press time, the studio had not specified the reason for the delay of either title, but had indicated they will both be released on Blu-ray and HD DVD at a later time. Specs and supplemental features are expected to remain the same.

We'll keep you posted as soon as new dates are announced for both 'Ghost' and 'An Officer and a Gentleman.'

In the meantime, we've moved both titles to the "Release Dates Postponed" section of our Blu-ray Release Schedule and HD DVD Release Schedule. Stay tuned!
