Universal Announces August HD DVD Slate

Universal Studios Home Entertainment will release two waves of new HD DVD discs this August, featuring four titles led by the Oscar-winning musical biopic 'Ray.'
The first wave kicks off with the Jamie Foxx-starrer on August 8, which will include the same bonus features as the standard DVD release, as well as a Dolby Digital-Plus 5.1 surround track.
Following two weeks later on August 22 are three hit thrillers, including 'The Interpreter,' 'Spy Game' and 'The Bone Collector.' All also include new Dolby Digital-Plus 5.1 tracks and the same bonus features as the previous standard DVD releases. No exclusive HD content has been announced by the studio.
All titles will retail individually for $34.95.
