HD DVD Hits the Slopes With 'Picture This'

Sports video distributor Ally Distribution is jumping into high-def with the early December HD DVD release of the snowboarding spectacular 'Picture This.'

Hailed as one of the most "groundbreaking snowboarding films ever seen," 'Picture This' features sixteen of the best snowboarders in the world, captured by some of the world's most accomplished sports cinematographers.

Coming to Blu-ray June 11th

Originally released on standard DVD back in September, 'Picture This' will mark the high-def debut for Ally Distribution, which will bring the film to HD DVD on December 11. (At press time, the company had yet to announce plans for a Blu-ray version.)

Like the earlier DVD, the HD DVD edition looks to be a slim package, with no announced extras, and 1080i video and standard Dolby Digital audio only.

Ally has set a suggested list price of $32.95 for the HD DVD.
