'Failure to Launch' Blu-ray/HD DVD Stuck at Starting Gate

Living up to its title, the Blu-ray and HD DVD releases of 'Failure to Launch' have, well, failed to launch, with today's planned release indefinitely postponed, confirms Paramount Home Entertainment.
Originally announced late last year for simultaneous release on DVD, Blu-ray and HD DVD, the $80 million-grossing romantic hit starring Matthew McConaughy and Sarah Jessica Parker will still see its standard-def version hit stores today.
No reason has been issued for the postponement, nor has any new street date been provded. We'll keep you posted on further news as it comes in.
In the meantime, we've added 'Failure to Launch' to the list of "Postponed With No New Date" titles in our Blu-ray Release Schedule and our HD DVD Release Schedule.
