Steve McQueen fans, mark your calendars: on February 27, Warner Home Video will bring the classics 'Bullitt' and 'The Getaway' to Blu-ray and HD DVD.

Both titles will feature 1080p/VC-1 transfers and Dolby Digital 5.1 surround tracks (encoded at 640kbps), regardless of format.

Strangely, Warner's press release does not offer a list of special features, only highlighting that 'Bullitt' will include "The Cutting Edge: The Magic of Movie Editing" featurette, presented in full 1080p HD. The featurette is dubbed by the studio as "a fascinating look at the art of film editing featuring award-winning directors Steven Spielberg, George Lucas, Martin Scorsese, Quentin Tarantino and Ridley Scott." We'll keep you posted on any additional extras as they are announced.

Retail price for each is set at $28.95 list.

The latest details for both titles have been added to our format-specific disc details pages, which can be found under February 27 in our HD DVD Release Schedule and Blu-ray Release Schedule.
